The Kentucky Association of Chiefs of Police is proud to offer a scholarship for students pursuing degrees related to law enforcement.
Eligibility
Applicants must be Kentucky residents majoring in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or Police Administration, pursuing an AA, BS, or MS degree. Undergraduate students must be enrolled full time per university policy to be eligible. Graduate students and full-time law enforcement officers may be eligible on a part-time basis.
Preference is given to students who have declared a degree in the fields listed above. Family members of current or retired law enforcement officers are also given preference.
Applicants must be of high moral character and have demonstrated academic ability. Only students enrolled at a Kentucky college or university will be considered. Families are limited to one scholarship per year.
Deadline
Applications must be submitted to the Office of the Executive Director by June 1st of the calendar year for which the applicant is seeking the scholarship.
